Carpet Cleaning

Deeper Clean means just that. Why have a carpet ‘cleaned’ if the dirt still lurks below the surface only to reappear in no time at all with a vengeance. It’s just money wasted. To provide a deeper clean better than anyone else, you need a combination of factors all working together offering a unique combination:

  • The latest high power, steam cleaning method using hot water extraction

  • Highly trained and experienced operator

  • Taking the time to do a thorough job

A deeper clean helps pay for itself. Not only do you get a lovely looking carpet, but Deeper Clean’s process
removes deep down sand and grit that is slowly damaging your carpets. It’s like walking around the house with sandpaper on your soles, wearing away the fibres. You can extend the longevity of your
carpet for years with a deeper clean.

The system also facilitates fast drying times so you and your family have the least disruption possible and less risk of problems that occur with companies using cheap equipment and in experienced operators; leaving your carpet sopping wet and smelly. Yes they are still out there!

Improve air quality in your home

When you realise your carpet acts like a giant air filter, improving the overall air quality around your home, you can understand the importance of a deep clean. Clean that filter and more of the dust, allergens and whatever that would be floating around in the air is absorbed by the carpet.

I have specialised in cleaning wool and wool mix carpets for over a decade. Wool needs special attention if it’s to be cleaned to the highest standard without using harsh chemicals that can easily damage it leading to accelerated wear or colour change.

Top tips for spills and stains.

Take a deep breath and don’t panic’ Doing something rash could only make matters worse. Many of the so called stain removers on sale contain bleaches and can also make a stain permanent that would otherwise be removable.

My advice is to avoid them and do not use washing powder, fairy liquid or anything else not design for the job either.

• Scrape up or blot up with white
absorbent paper towels.

• Do not scrub, this can damage carpet fibres

• Use a damp paper towel to absorb liquids, but do not over wet carpet. Try to dry the area as quickly as possible by blotting with
a dry towel. Dont leave a spill or stain, deal with it quickly and you have more chance of removing it.

Stains tend to fall into two categories. Water or oil based and require different approaches. However Deeper Clean can supply an all in one product that is wool safe and works wonders on both types of stains.

More stubborn stains will require professional intervention.
